Idea Cards and Source Records¶

Every capture becomes an Idea Card. IDE, QUE, and DEC describe how the card entered or currently functions within the Ledger; they do not limit what the card may become.

Card views¶

• Card Summary is the compact representation in the Ledger list or search results.
• Card Detail is the opened view containing the available source, interpretation, results, and associations.

Source and interpretation¶

The Source Record preserves the original wording and provenance. A Snapshot is an AI interpretation made at a particular time and retained separately.

The Idea Card may develop; its Source Record may not be rewritten.

This allows the Ledger to remain authoritative about what occurred without treating a developing idea as settled truth.
